Forest Green 0 Reading 2

FOREST Green were unlucky to lose after a spirited performance against former Premiership side Reading.

There was a first start given to young Hartpury College winger Isaac Shaze who impressed against Steve Coppell's star studded side, which included England international Nicky Shorey, Dave Kitson, and Leroy Lita.

Reading took the lead in the 11th minute through a short corner, and Jimmy Kebe volleyed in Bobby Convey's cross.

Former Bristol City striker Leroy Lita played a major part as the visitors doubled their lead nine minutes later.

He made a long run before teeing up Kebe, whose shot was saved by goalkeeper Terry Burton, only for Jem Karacan to turn in the rebound.
