BRISTOL Harbour Festival, the city’s largest free festival, attended by hundreds of thousands of city dwellers and visitors each year will be taking place from Friday 18 to Sunday 2 July.

Bristol Harbour Festival boasts a wonderful mix of live music, dazzling dance, street theatre performance and scintillating circus displays, attracting up to a quarter of a million visitors. The festival takes place over a 2 mile site based on the city’s historic harbourside, which as well as being a key part of the city’s history, provides one of the UK’s truly unique event sites.

Bristol’s rich maritime heritage is celebrated by a visiting fleet of pleasure craft, working boats and beautiful tall ships. The festival also acts a showcase of the city’s international reputation as a musical and arts powerhouse, with local partners showcasing over 100 local acts as well as bringing national stars to the city.
