THERE will be a range of fun and exciting events happening at Woodchester Park every week until Friday 29 August from bug hunting, making a home for a wild animal, cooking on a camp fire and snail racing.
As part of this year’s ‘50 Things to do before you’re 11¾’ campaign, the National Trust in the South West is putting on 500 events and drop-in activities over the school holidays, with many things available daily to encourage families to experience nature. Wild Woodchester events are the perfect opportunity to tick-off a few from the list and there will be rangers to help with the fun.
All events will be happening in the beautiful setting of Woodchester Park, with its five lakes and lost historical landscaped gardens, so as well as enjoying den building and climbing trees, Woodchester Park is also the perfect setting for visitors to enjoy a picnic and a relaxing walk.
Wild Woodchester events are happening every Friday during the holiday. Booking essential.
