VISITORS to the National Arboretum at Westonbirt can now enjoy free entry for children right up until August 31, together with a brilliant line-up of events to entertain the whole family.

Special events include the opportunity to explore the Hidden Life of Leaves, learning about the vital role leaves play in the tree canopy on a family trail and make their very own painted leaf tiles, leaf stitching or willow leaves to finish. Children can unearth the characters of trees at Tree Reading, finding out about their amazing structures and create fuzzy leaf twigs, ink-blown forest pictures or pom pom branches to take home.

Westonbirt’s signature summer event, Treefest, takes place August 29-31, with arena events, children’s activities and exhibitors.
