NATURE in Art is welcoming back the British Wildlife Photography Awards for the 2015 winners and highly commended entries, in an exhibition which celebrates the very best of British Wildlife.

The awards are uniquely British and were created to celebrate the talents of both amateur and professional photographers whilst highlighting the wealth of British natural history. This exhibition plays host to a collection of around 100 images which celebrate British wildlife as captured on camera by today’s best amateur and professional photographers.

The winning images are chosen as part of sixteen separate categories which showcase an array of habitats and wildlife including; portraits, season, habitat, behaviour, black & white, urban, wildwoods and many other, including a video documentary category as well. There are also two junior categories which aim to encourage younger generations to appreciate and connect with nature through photography.

Chris Packham, TV Presenter and Naturalist, said: “Each year the British Wildlife Photography Awards generates an incredible catalogue of splendid, exciting, imaginative and artistic images, proving beyond doubt that we have the richest palette of life to celebrate in our own backyard. Anyone passionate about protecting and preserving wildlife will be inspired by the British Wildlife Photography Awards, which has done more than any other award to raise the profile of British wildlife”,

The 2015 British Wildlife Photography Awards will be at Nature in Art, Wallsworth Hall, Twigworth from September 15 until November 15. Admission charges apply. Please visit www.natureinart.org for more details and opening times.
