UNDER the Edge Arts in Wotton are delighted to be hosting an extraordinary exhibition, “Ability not Disability”, organised by South Gloucestershire Disability Equality Network (SG DEN) to celebrate the work of disabled artists and artisans working in Gloucestershire.

The exhibition will be open in the Chipping Hall, Wotton-Under-Edge on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September from 10am until 4pm. There will also be a private view for invited guests to open the exhibition on Friday evening.

Ability not Disability was the brainchild of the former Chair of SG DEN, Sue Liebow who died in January this year. Funds generated during the exhibition will be used to establish a bursary fund for disabled artists in her name.

SG DEN believes that the work of disabled artists and artisans is often undervalued and underappreciated. They also know that some disabled artists struggle to get the chance to sell their work for a fair price. The aim of this exhibition is to champion their work at a single event and give as many as possible the chance to show their work to a wide audience

Entry to the exhibition is free and there will be a wide range of artwork on display and for sale at the exhibition.
