THREE local artists will be making a welcome return to Under the Edge Arts with their exhibition of paintings and mosaics on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 October. ?Peter Downs, Ann Slann and Joyce Woodward-Hughes will be filling the Chipping Hall in Wotton-Under-Edge with and wonderful mosaics for the home and garden and numerous watercolour and pastel paintings covering subjects as diverse as of delicate florals, local vistas and landmarks, and portraits of people and animals.

Peter Downs is a respected amateur artist who has exhibited locally for many years. He has undertaken several commissions, and is currently holding workshops at Newark Park. He has painted all his life and usually chooses local scenery and events. ?Anne Slann has been painting mainly watercolours and pastels for many years. She specialises in delicate floral and local landscape paintings in watercolour and animals and people in pastel although the two may overlap. Anne has exhibited locally and accepts commissions and individual tuition. ?Joyce Woodward-Hughes is an experienced artist in mosaics using recycled materials. Her work is exceptional, unique and unusual; she produces beautiful decorative pieces for the home and garden. Joyce also accepts commissions and offers workshops or individual tuition.

The exhibition and sale of artworks will be open on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 October from 10 am until 4pm. Entrance is free, but donations to support Under the Edge Arts are welcomed.
