UNDER the Edge Arts are hosting a wonderful exhibition and sale of oil paintings ranging from portraits to abstracts, still life and landscapes.
The exhibition will be held in the Chipping Hall on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October. The artists, John Carter and John Treweek are long-time friends and members of a group of local painters meeting at The Chipping Hall, working under the guidance of Rob Collins. In this exhibition they show how their oil painting has developed: John C. with a varied collection although having a particular interest in group portraits with a narrative focus, whilst John T. has gone in the direction of abstracting still life and landscape.
The exhibition and sale of artworks will be open from 10am until 4pm. Entrance is free, but donations to support Under the Edge Arts are welcomed.
