GLOUCESTER Cathedral have announced that due to the overwhelming response to the ‘Pottering around the Cathedral’ Launch Night on Thursday, October 29, that there has been a change to the original plans to turn up and pay on the door and tickets will need to be booked in advance.
A Cathedral spokesperson said “We are incredibly surprised at the enormous reaction from the public to this launch event. We want everyone to have a wonderful experience on the night, but for health and safety reasons we have to limit the number of tickets sold for each tour.”
Tours on the night will take place at 6.30pm, 7.15pm and 8pm and tickets will be available to purchase from Tuesday morning from www.gloucestercathedral.org.uk or by calling 0845 652 1823 (between 10am and 4pm)
Please be aware that tickets will not be available on the night of the event. Gloucester Cathedral will announce additional dates for ‘Pottering around the Cathedral’ in the near future.
