UNDER The Edge Arts are inviting everyone to break out of their post-Christmas stupor and give their brain a New Year workout at their annual Quiz Night on Saturday, January 30. This is a great chance to have fun, meet new people, win prizes and raise funds for Under the Edge Arts.

Bring your friends and family too, there is a maximum of six people per team. The doors open at 7.30 and the questions start at 8pm prompt in the Chipping Hall, Wotton-Under-Edge, GL12 7AD.

You can book online at www.utea.org.uk or by calling 07791 323869 – maximum 6 per team- entrance costs, £5 per person.

Then, next month, get ready for some fabulous live music when Under the Edge Arts welcome back the acclaimed 'Blue Badgers' for an extra special Valentine's Fundraiser on Saturday, February 13.

Expect a wide range of styles from Hillbilly to Gypsy Punk, Irish folk to heartfelt blues and boogie, all played with freshness. Featuring fiddle and accordion as well as double bass, harmonica, guitar and drums complemented with infectiously enthusiastic vocal harmonies, the Blue Badgers sound has been described as 'truck driving music from around the world'!

The Blue Badgers are sure to deliver an immensely enjoyable mix of new and more familiar songs. It will take a strong will to resist the urge to dance to this band, and no one will mind if you can't resist!

Last year at UTEA, the Blue Badgers raised the roof, so why not come along and see if they can do the same again?

The performance starts at 8pm in the Chipping Hall, Wotton-Under-Edge, GL12 7AD. Tickets cost £10/8, and can be booked online at wwww.utea.org.uk or by calling call UTEA on 07791 323 869. Tickets can also be purchased at the door, subject to availability, but early booking is strongly recommended.
