UNDER the Edge Arts invites artists of all ages to come and Paint the Town on Sunday, June 26.
All artists, amateur, professional, children and adults are invited to come and paint Wotton-Under-Edge anytime on Sunday, June 26.
This is a fundraising event for UTEA, who are inviting artists to spend the day in Wotton, painting pictures of the town and surrounding countryside and then donate their efforts to raise much needed funds for the arts centre.
Under The Edge Arts will show all submissions at an exhibition on the weekend of July 16 and 17 , when there will be a grand sale with all proceeds going to UTEA. All images should be ready for the exhibition by Wednesday, July 13; they need not be framed, but should be card mounted and ready for hanging. A4 sized works on paper can be submitted un-mounted for display in the UTEA Perspex frame system.
You can work in any medium, and if you’d prefer to take some photos and paint from them later that’s fine too.
