MARC Allum of the BBC Antiques Roadshow will be presenting a fun and entertaining evening in support of Athelstan Museum’s Malmesbury Coin Hoard community project on Tuesday, April 25.
“An Evening of Art & Antiques” will be held at Malmesbury Town Hall at 7pm.
Marc will talk about a number of objects from his personal collection in his usual humorous and knowledgeable style.
Guests are encouraged to bring along their own items as Marc will be choosing some to discuss. This is a chance to learn the history behind that mysterious object.
Tickets are available at the museum for only £10 (which includes a glass of wine).
The talk is a part of the Heritage Lottery supported project at the museum to conserve and display the amazing Malmesbury Coin Hoard.
The volunteers have been doing terrific job recording, packaging and photographing the coins in preparation for their conservation.
