GLOUCESTERSHIRE Writers’ Network is calling upon the county’s best authors for an annual competition.
Open to budding authors living or working in Gloucestershire, writers can submit their own poems and prose focusing on the theme "Who Do We Think We Are?”.
Poems can be up to 50 lines whereas prose is limited to 750 words. The two winning entries will receive £200 each alongside an invitation for winners and runners-up to read their work at the Cheltenham Literature Festival in October.
The closing date is Saturday, July 27 and submissions cost £2.50 to enter. Entries can be either sent to GWN, c/o 3 Chancel Way, Charlton Kings, Cheltenham GL53 7RR or emailed to gillgwn@gmail.com.
