STUDENTS from Stroud College of Art will be exhibiting at Fresh Air, the 13th biennial Quenington Sculpture Exhibition, which takes place from June 11-July 2.

Five students from the Art Foundation (pre-degree) course at Stroud School of Art were selected to make a piece of site-specific work for Fresh Air 2017.

David Plaskitt, Fergus Lock, Georgie Gibbons, May Darbyshire and Winona Vigileos had their work selected along side students from Hereford College of Art.

This is an exciting moment for the students to be chosen to exhibit at one of the UK’s leading outdoor sculpture shows where the footfall is over 12,000 visitors in the three-week period.

It gives these budding practitioners the chance to create a work in a completely different environment and an opportunity to have exposure and feedback from a wide range of collectors and visitors.

Fresh Air will award The Netherton Prize to the most promising student with prize money of £500 to assist in student training, development or travel.
