THE interior of Dursley Methodist Church will be transformed this weekend into an exhibition hall in readiness for an Arts & Craft Exhibition being held on Saturday, July 15 as part of Dursley Carnival Day.
Several local artists and craft workers will be present to display their work, much of which will be on sale, and several large hanging boards have been prepared to give plenty of hanging space.
Amongst those taking part will be two painters, Phil Summers and Rita Dee, two textile artists, Pauline Chidlaw and Jacki Whitehead, a glass artist, Sarah Davis, a potter, Julie Fowler; two mosaic artists from TomatoJacks in Berkeley and photographer, Brian Wetton.
Entry is free, and as well as the opportunity to purchase the work of these artists throughout the day, food and drink will be served, including coffees, teas, light lunches, cakes and cream teas.
The church is in the centre of Dursley, next to Sainsburys.
- Open 10am-5pm.
