COME and join Sodbury Players Youth Section as they take you back to 1920s New York where two rival gangs are fighting over the latest weapon - ‘A Splurge Gun’ - in their fabulous production of Bugsy Malone.
Bugsy Malone is one of the most popular musicals ever made, largely thanks to the film, which was directed and written by Alan Parker and famously featured an all-child cast.
This all singing and dancing gangster musical follows Bugsy Malone, a washed out boxer as he helps Fat Sam of ‘Fat Sam’s Grand Slam’ in an attempt to defeat his arch nemesis Dandy Dan as well as a little bit of romance when Blousy Brown and Tallulah get involved.
Expect some great songs, great costumes and lots of light-hearted mob humour with this family favourite.
Bugsy Malone, with words and music by Paul Williams takes place on Sunday, July 20 at 2.30pm in Chipping Sodbury Town Hall.
