A HEADY combination of musical acts heralds the 12th Cornbury Music Festival - true legends, a powerful dose of the blues, a touch of X factor, national treasures, guilty pleasures, a little bit of country and a little bit of rock ‘n’ roll - there truly is something for everyone.

This 10-12 July, Cornbury Music Festival will showcase another cornucopia of delights in the rolling hills of the Great Tew Estate – legendary Welsh soul man Sir Tom Jones makes his Cornbury Music Festival debut, joined by Supertramp founder, singer-songwriter Roger Hodgson, great British rockers Razorlight and The Fratellis, rockney-heros Chas & Dave and the ever pop-tastic Blue. Promoter Hugh Phillimore is naturally very excited about this year’s line-up "I’m really delighted with the variety of what we’ll hear at the Cornbury Music Festival this year – such amazing artists coming together in our little corner of the Cotswolds".

A variety of genres are well represented over the summer weekend – American Roots Rock sisters Larkin Poe lead the charge, along with exceptional Welsh alt-folkers Paper Aeroplanes. Old and new country stars Hank Wangford, The Shires and Ward Thomas showcase the best of Nashville; Joanne Shaw-Taylor and perennial James Hunter sing the blues, whilst Martha Reeves & the Vandellas will have everyone dancing in the street.

‘We’re really excited by future stars Jack Savoretti, Chastity Brown and The Harbour representing the new generation, by Only The Young adding a little X Factor, and by the purveyor of pure fun, festival closer Billy Ocean, giving us a rousing finale’ adds Hugh.

Further announcements will follow, including a details of a new comedy partnership, the emerging artists of the Caffe Nero Stage and the brain-tingling line-ups of the Riverside and Unbound stages… For regular updates follow on Twitter (@Cornbury) and Instagram (@cornburymusicfestival).
