SPORTBEAT Festival, which takes place in Gloucester over the weekend of 15th/16th August, have announced their first two acts with many more exciting names to be released in the coming weeks.
Saturday Headline act, The Fratellis, sold more than a mililion copies of their debut album ‘Costello Music’and were proud winners of ‘Best British Breakthrough Act’ at the 2007 Brit Awards.
The second artist to be revealed is singer/songwriter James Arthur who came to prominence after winning the X Factor final, in 2012. The You Tube video, of James’s performance in the final of ‘Impossible’, has been watched a staggering 61 million times.
His first single 'Impossible' reached number one in 34 countries, selling 1.25 million in the UK and 2.5 million worldwide. James's self-titled album debuted at number 2, in the UK. He is currently working on his second album.
