FOLK rock hero and cellist Geoff March, former member of Decameron, and David Butcher, flamenco guitarist with Suspiro Flamenco, will be getting together at Rodborough Tabernacle this month.
They will be providing instrumental interludes in a concert being given by The Cappella Singers with a varied programme of music entitled ‘The Merry Month of May’. Geoff and David will play instrumental music of various styles and origins influenced by their own musical backgrounds and interests including folk, flamenco and swing, and featuring original compositions and arrangements. They are both members of The Cappella Singers.
The concert starts at 7pm on Saturda, May 16 and admission is £7 with under 16 and carers free. Tickets can be obtained in advance from 01453 766389 or 01453 872446.
