IT'S Fascinating Rhythms' 20th Anniversary this year and this weekend they are putting on a Musical extravaganza to celebrate.
The ladies chorus are hoping to have more than 55 singers on stage performing many new songs as well as some old favourites. From small beginnings in the back room of a Sodbury pub we now boast 58 singers, some of whom have been in Fascinating Rhythm from the beginning.
Fascinating Rhythm's repertoire includes pop, ballad, easy beat as well as traditional barbershop songs sung in 4 part close harmony.
The group strives for excellence in performance and singing and have certainly come a long way- last year the ladies achieved 7th place in the country at the annual competition with the Ladies Association of British Barbershop Singers receiving the highest score in their history.
