ON SATURDAY, September 12, at the Colston Hall, Bristol, Dursley Male Voice Choir came together with choristers from seven other local choirs to raise money for the Prince’s Trust. The event, billed as the Festival of Male Voice Choirs and consisting of some 350 voices, was hosted by Moira Stuart OBE and featured as its guest internationally renowned tenor Wynne Evans.

Katherine Morgan, The Prince's Trust Events Manager said: “The Prince’s Trust was delighted to be selected as the chosen charity for The Festival of Male Voice Choirs with Wynne Evans at The Colston Hall on 12th September. All eight choirs from across the South West and Wynne produced a truly uplifting, spine tingling concert, the feedback has been phenomenal. Over £12,500 was raised to support young disadvantaged people in the South West turn their lives around and get in to training, education and ultimately employment.
