THERE will be a special Christmas edition of Friday Night at The House coming to the Oldridge Bar in Kingshill House, Dursley on Friday, December 4.
On arrival, you will be greeted by a recital of short, well-loved items for cello and piano, followed by a performance of seasonal, festive songs from Rachel, Lizzie and Andrew, accompanied by Alex on the piano, with an opportunity to join in with a sing-along on some after the break. Between the music, we present one of the legendary mini pantos from the repertoire of local drama group, the DODS, ‘Robinson Caruso’. There is no entry charge, but, in keeping with the season of good will, the hat will be passed round for a named charity.
For those who would like a bite to eat, there will be a buffet, including both savoury and dessert items served from 7 pm for £7.50, with the entertainment beginning at 8pm. Mulled wine will be available in the bar.
