FOR the perfect kick start to the festive period 'A Swinging Christmas Evening' is always the answer!
Boogie woogie/swing pianist and vocalist Peter Gill and his band return to The Subscription Rooms on Sunday, December 13 to perform an eclectic mix of swing standards and Christmas gems such as 'White Christmas', 'Santa Claus Is Comin To Town', 'Baby It's Cold Outside', 'Winter Wonderland' 'Route 66', Well Alright, Okay You Win' and 'Mr Bojangles'.
This will be an evening of sublime swing, boogie and blues interlaced with Peter’s friendly and witty banter. Amongst those joining Peter on stage will be nationally acclaimed performers Kim Cypher (saxophones), Wayne Elliott (bass), Michael Croshaw (guitar) and Mike Cypher (drums).
