FRIDAY Nights at the House, held in the Oldridge Bar, Kingshill House, Dursley, presents The Collective on Friday 19 February.
A five piece local band, The Collective play a great variety of memorable rock ‘n roll, blues and soul covers from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. Featuring Super Steve on sax and guitar, Kerry on lead guitar, Andy on drums and Mal on bass, with Wendy on percussion and vocals. The first set showcases Steve and Wendy with a collection of softer material to create the mellow mood, whilst the second set allows the full band to entertain you and hopefully get you to sing along with the many familiar numbers and even have a dance.
For those who would like a bite to eat, there will be a reasonably priced supper served in the bar from 7pm with the entertainment beginning at 8pm. There is no entry charge but the hat is passed around
