A VILLAGE pub in South Gloucestershire will be turned into a theatre for two nights next month.
The Beaufort Arms, in Hawkesbury Upton, is hosting a dinner date with the great television chef and her husband Fanny and Johnnie Craddock courtesy of the Show of Strength Theatre Company.
The show, starring Kate McNab and John Telfer in the hilarious nostalgic production, will be preceded by a three-course 1970s themed dinner.
Landlord Mark Steeds said: “This is the second show we are hosting, we did it a couple of years ago and it was a roaring success.
“Since then we have hosted Harmony in the Gromit Unleashed Trail and we are again bringing professional theatre to the sticks.
“We are just trying to keep the pub vibrant and provide a community service.”
