Coaleyfest, a family music festival organised by Friends of Coaley School, is returning for its fourth year this Saturday, June 18at 5.30pm.
Featuring new headliners The Broken Stones, there will also be some returning bands and new singers.
The evening will be opened with a performance from the children of Coaley School and interspersed with the Coaley Morris Kids. Local singer-songwriters Chloe Kemp and Steph Fleming will get the evening underway. There will also be performances from Mekon Man & the Cry Babies, a rockabilly band from Stroud, as well as an acoustic set from local band Sonnitus. Headliners, The Broken Stones say their ethos is simple - to play music with a soul, passion and energy that makes people want to get up & dance.
It’s all set to be a wonderful evening of live music.
With a barbecue selling hot dogs and burgers from Cam Family Butcher, a licensed bar (selling local beer from Severn Vale Brewery as well as cider, wine, lager, Pimms and soft drinks), a coffee tent and plenty of inflatable instruments and bubble wands for the children, this is the an ideal small family-festival.
Saturday, June 18, Coaley School Field, 5.30pm, Ticket prices are £5 adults, £2.50 children and are available from Coaley Village Shop or by emailing coaleyfest@gmail.com
