HANNAH Scott will be performing live in the intimate setting of the Chipping Hall in Wotton-Under-Edge on Saturday, October 8.

Suffolk-born Hannah's heart felt and life-affirming performances have consistently wowed audiences and critics across the UK. Much of the inspiration behind Hannah Scott's music can be found in her affinity with Italy. A year living and working in Tuscany in her late teens provided the backdrop to her early work.

Hannah's latest release, 'Hurricanes' sees her collaborate with producer and multi-instrumentalist Stefano Della Cassa, whose influence and direction has been key to her progression both as a songwriter and performer.

'Hurricanes' also earned Hannah an invitation to record a live session on Dermot O'Leary's BBC Radio 2, which met with great acclaim, 'This is beautiful'- Dermot O'Leary. The single has also been selected by Bob Harris who has plays it on Radio 2, and has being chosen as 'Track of the Week' for BBC 3 Counties.

Praise for Hannah's distinctive voice, strong melodies and thought-provoking lyrics has arrived from influential publications such as MOJO magazine, which said of Hannah, 'She can cut it live as well as on record'.

MOJO Magazine also shortlisted Hannah for the final of their New Voice competition and The Guardian handpicked her as their 'New Band of the Day'.

Hannah can also be heard on the high street in Café Nero and Costa where she has been 'Artist of the Month' and in bars and hotel chains around the world.

Hannah's arresting live performances have earned her invitations to open for artists including Seth Lakeman and 10cc and she has performed at renowned venues such as the Union Chapel as well as playing throughout Italy and, of course, at Under the Edge Arts in Wotton-Under-Edge!
