CRITICALLY acclaimed acoustic trio Whalebone are coming to Charfield Memorial Hall as part of their 2016 ‘Seasons’ tour on Saturday, October 15.

The group, who have won several awards internationally for their music, have a passionate belief in bringing their high-quality, professional and extremely entertaining show to community venues.

“We love the phenomenon of playing live” says Whalebone lead guitarist, Steve Downs. “Live music is not for everyone. It’s not for those who want it the same every time. It’s not for those who want it like the record. It’s for those who embrace the uncertainty and uniqueness of a live performance, for those who know that, when live music is good, sparks fly”.

Whalebone’s show comprises high energy acoustic music alongside haunting atmospheric tunes, and features instruments including a five-string violin and an eight-string baritone guitar.

Tickets are £8 (£6 children/OAPs) and are available by calling 01454 261180 or online at www.ticketsource.co.uk/whalebone. For more information or to see and hear the band in action please see www.whalebone-music.com, or follow Whalebone on Facebook or Twitter.
