CHARITY concert, Dartfest, takes place on Saturday, January 14 at The Crown & Sceptre in Stroud.
This will be the 12th annual Dartfest, organised by James Dart to raise funds for various charities including St Peter's Hospice, Cotswold Care, Meningitis Trust, Allsorts and the Haiti Earthquake Appeal to name a few.
James started Dartfest in Bristol as a private party close for his birthday and it grew into a two stage spectacular with seven bands and multiple DJs open to the public.
Since moving the event to Stroud it has become a more intimate event with four bands and a charity raffle with prizes generously donated by local businesses.
This year the bill includes James's band The Forgetting Curve as well as bands Square Bomb, Valentina and headliners Derdniks.
The charity this year is Duchenne UK, rasing money for a more aggressive form of Muscular Dystrophy, which a family friend's four year old son, from Nailsworth suffers from.
The businesses that have donated to the raffle this year include: The Painswick Hotel, Moonflower, Mosaic, Intrigue, Wild Boar, Trading Post, Art of Clay, St Michaels of Painswick and many more.
- Join Dartfest at The Crown & Sceptre in Stroud on Saturday, January 14. Free entry. Music starts at around 8pm.
