BACK for its fifth year, the 2017 Phoenix Festival is pulling out all the stops, bringing 2 Tone Ska and intergalactic Rock and Pop to the Abbey Grounds in Cirencester on Saturday, August 26 and 27.

Los Palmas 6 are a seven piece Madness tribute band with experience of world tours and major festivals.

They have played and recorded with ska and punk giants, such as Bad Manners, the UK SUBS and Peter and the Test Tube Babies.

With their authentic sound and look their show promises to be 100 percent pure madness.

David Live capture and celebrate the sounds of David Bowie over the decades. This tribute act and cover band comprise five musicians, three of whom are brothers, and bring a selection of Bowie’s many musical characters to the stage.

Charlie Fowler of David Live said: “The guys and I are thrilled to be asked to headline this years’ Phoenix Festival. Having seen Who’s Next and Oas-is last year we’re honoured to be following such great acts.

"We will play a lot of Bowie’s hits for newer fans and a fair sprinkling of lesser known album cuts for the Bowie-lovers. It will be a fantastic chance to reflect on his huge breadth of work and turn on even more people to the awesome David Bowie”

Glen Moreman, festival organiser said: “We are so excited to have these two very passionate and talented tribute acts at the Phoenix this year. They are sure to move festival goers in more ways than one”

Any performers, artists, bands, dance troupes, DJ's or choirs etc. who are located in the Cirencester area (GL7 postcode) that want to play at the 2017 Phoenix Festival should get in touch via info@phoenix-festival.co.uk .
