STROUD Unplugged, a Beer and Cider Festival, returns for its fifth year at The Crown and Sceptre pub over the Easter weekend in the “Gert Yurt” in the back garden of the pub.
The pub is still searching for some acoustic acts to play this unique venue. They are looking for solo, duo and trio acts to play on Friday, Saturday.
Sunday is an open mic session curated by the Reverend Stretch and is open to all comers.
The festival also features comedy, storytelling and poetry as well as music from The Lensmen and The Nancy Boys.
And on Easter Monday they will host an Americana Festival featuring The Shaggy Dod Raconteurs, the Bob Porter Project and Texas Tick fever as Stroud’s Chilli Cookoff Championship takes place with six teams competing to cook the tastiest Chilli in town.
- Stroud Unplugged is on April 14-19. From 2pm. Visit crownandsceptrecstroud.com
