SOUTH Cotswolds Jazz Club, Wotton-under-Edge, presents Conjunto Gringo on Friday, June 16 at 7.30pm.
Conjunto Gringo is an eight piece instrumental salsa band led by Andy Hague, one of Bristol’s best known trumpeters. The band reflects his love of Cuban and other Latin music.
The band features some of Bristol’s finest jazz soloists in tunes by Tito Puente, Mongo Santamaria, Afro Cuban All Stars, some latinised Stevie Wonder and a few originals.
The band has played many club dates around Bristol and has appeared at Swanage Jazz Festival, Honiton Festival and Backwell Festival.
