Duende! The Poetry of Federico Garcia Lorca was a sell out show at both the Scottish Poetry Festival and Ledbury Poetry Festival.
Concert artist Keith celebrates the haunting and exotic poetry of the most celebrated writers in the Spanish Language: Federico Garcia Lorca, Isabel Allende, Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Pablo Neruda.
Their dramatic and sensual poetry is performed as songs and set to Keith’s rich and fiery classical guitar.
There is a huge resurgence of interest in the life and literary output of Federico Garcia Lorca. Yerma, one of his dramas has recently taken the West End by storm.
Keith James is known for his ability to bring depth to his interpretations and has performed thousands of concerts celebrating the work of Nick Drake, Lorca, Dylan Thomas and Leonard Cohen.
This concert will be sung both in English and Spanish and mostly features the Classical and Flamenco guitar.
