Mark Ruffalo may have missed the Screen Actors Guild Awards ceremony, but proved he was there in spirit after writing his acceptance speech on Twitter.

The 47-year-old actor scooped the award for outstanding performance by a male actor in a television movie or miniseries for his role in HBO’s The Normal Heart, but is away from Los Angeles to film his role in the Now You See Me sequel.

Mark shared a photo of himself from bed.

“Upon waking and hearing from my wife and kids that I won a @SAGAwards for #TheNormalHeart,” he captioned the picture on Instagram. “Love wins tonight!”

The Hulk star then tweeted the thank yous he didn’t get a chance to say on stage to the cast and crew of the TV movie, along with his fellow Screen Actors Guild members and his PR team.

Lastly, to prove that he is working away from home, he added a photo of himself on set of Now You See Me – The Second Act.

“Hanging on the set of “Now You See Me The Second Act” with @KeithBarry,” read the caption.
