Strictly Come Dancing has beaten Britain’s Got Talent and The Voice at a TV awards bash.

The show, presented by Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly, was named best reality programme at this year’s Tric Awards.

Meanwhile, Channel 4′s surprise hit Gogglebox triumphed in the entertainment programme category with a victory over The Graham Norton Show and Ant And Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.

But there was better news for the presenting duo when Ant and Dec took TV personality of the year, over Graham and Keith Lemon.

The broadcasting gongs saw Danny Dyer take the soap personality crown for his role as Mick Carter in EastEnders.

But Albert Square – which has been celebrating its 30th anniversary with a live week – lost out to the cobbles when Coronation Street was named TV soap of the year.

Susanna Reid took the best news presenter title again, after winning the accolade last year just days after announcing her defection to ITV.

The former BBC Breakfast host beat her Good Morning Britain co-host Ben Shephard as well as the BBC’s Fiona Bruce to the title.

Other winners at the Tric (Television and Radio Industries Club) Awards included The Great British Bake Off (factual), Downton Abbey (drama) and Pointless (daytime).
