Since Zayn Malik left One Direction in April, we haven’t heard much from the brooding Bradford boy on social media, aside from the heartbreaking day he took “1D” out of his username.
But today Mr Malik caused a Twitter storm when he called one of his former bandmates “bitchy”.
It all started when producer Naughty Boy, who is responsible for Zayn’s latest solo demo, tweeted a picture of the pair in the studio, complete with one of those awful Photobooth filters no one has used since 2007.

Out of the blue 1D’s sassiest member, Louis Tomlinson, threw some major shade with this sub-tweet.
