Most people would give their right arm for the chance to play football with David Beckham.

That thrill might not be quite so great if, like Brooklyn Beckham, Goldenballs happens to be your dad.

Father and son both appeared for the Great Britain and Ireland team in the Unicef Match For Children at Old Trafford – but if this picture is anything to go by, Brooklyn wasn’t quite as thrilled about it as his old man.

To be fair, that might just be an unfortunately timed photo – Brooklyn earlier posted this picture on Instagram, and he seemed pretty happy to be involved.

He certainly ought to be pretty thrilled – getting to play in a charity match alongside the likes of Ronaldinho, Michael Owen and Luis Figo is not something that happens to every 16-year-old.

Beckham Jr came on as a substitute and replaced his dad in the second half.

But Becks Sr wasn’t going to miss the chance to play alongside his son, so he came back on again before the end of the game.

It’s not Brooklyn’s first appearance at Old Trafford – here he is back in 2000 with his father’s Premier League winner’s medal – collar up, a la Cantona.

He was cool even back then, wasn’t he?
