Horrible Histories star Jessica Ransom scooped up a Children’s Bafta Award for her performance as Mary, Queen of Scots – although the series failed to win in the Comedy or Writer categories.

The Children’s Baftas took place at the Roundhouse in London, where stars from the children’s entertainment industry gathered for the ceremony.
