LOCAL singer-songwriter and front man with the Roving Crows, Paul O’Neill, is to play one of the leading roles in Jesus Christ Superstar at the stunning Gloucester Cathedral.

The production runs from 25-29 March and sees Paul treading the boards as Caiaphas, Head of the Jews. Jon Moses, the ITV ‘Superstar’ Finalist, plays Jesus and Daniel Haslam takes on the role of Judas.

Paul was born into a musical family and raised in Co.Kildare, Ireland. He moved to New York aged 25 and under-took formal training at AADA (The American Academy of Dramatic Arts) as well as becoming a member of the Neighbourhood Play Writers Lab.

Paul is a founder member of the award winning Roving Crows who are currently on tour with their 2nd album ‘Deliberate Distractions’.

The show runs at 7.30pm every evening with an additional 2pm matinee on Saturday 29. The production has musical accompaniment by the Queen’s Philharmonic Orchestra.
