ALL aboard the SS Madeira for this nautical musical comedy, for the first time on stage, Noel Coward's magical evocation of the historic P&O route home to Britain from the Far East, when a voyage took weeks rather than hours and passengers got up to all sorts of antics en route.
Actor, pianist and singer Michael Lunts brings to life wonderfully eccentric characters and includes many of 'The Masters' best-loved songs from Matelot to Mad Dogs and Englishmen, from Nina to Marvellous Party and, of course, Sail Away!
Back by popular demand, one of this country's most experienced and widely travelled performers of 'intimate review', Michael is bringing this charming and innovative show as part of the fund-raising Backstage Appeal for the Armstrong Hall Refurbishment.
Welcome aboard, choose your table, relax with friends and enjoy the fun! Tickets £10 each to include Pimms or a first drink and finger bites, from the Town Hall or phone 01454 412272.
