THORNBURY Musical Theatre Group (TMTG) are hoping that you will enjoy seeing little rats around the town next week, as the award-winning theatre group bring their production of The Pied Piper to the Armstrong Hall.

This original pantomime written and directed by Gary Kennedy will be performed from February18 to 21every evening at 7.30pm, with matinees on the Friday and Saturday at 2.30pm.

It could get a bit dirty with evil characters named ‘Snot’ and ‘Pong’ played by Jo Hachani and David Walker messing up Hamelin. No wonder they face an invasion of rats played by our talented cast of children, William Wolstenholme, Bethany Wong, Ellen O’Brien, Lizzie O’Brien, Charlotte Anthony, Caitlin O’Brien, Darcy Collins, Emma Donaldson, Piper Kennedy and Amelia O’Sullivan.

No doubt with a handsome prince , Alice Walton and his valet, Natalie Britton, all will not be lost especially with the assistance of the good fairies ‘Clean’ and ‘Sparkle’, played by Lizzie Lindsell and Kate Coyle not to mention our helpful dame, played by David Wrench.

The performance will include songs, dance, slapstick, cheers and boos (provided by you our audience) with a little magic and some sparkle.

TMTG are also delighted at the news that they are to receive an Achievement Award from NODA for their recent production of ‘Crazy For You’. The award will be presented to the director Heather Collins at the annual awards dinner later this month.

Why not come and judge for yourselves the standard of their next production ,’The Pied Piper’?
