FATHER and son James Fox and Jack Fox star in new stage adaptation of the Sunday Times Humour Book of the Year as Dear Lupin visits Bath prior to the West End.
Two times BAFTA Award winner James Fox (A Passage to India, The Remains of the Day, Downton Abbey) and Jack Fox (Mr Selfridge, Fresh Meat, Dracula) star in the show, which visits the Theatre Royal Bath from Monday, April 20 to Saturday, April 25, as part of a short UK tour ahead of a West End run.
Celebrated writer Michael Simkins has adapted the Sunday Times Humour Book of the Year, Dear Lupin, Letters to a Wayward Son in which renowned journalist and author Roger Mortimer’s brilliantly hilarious, often touching, and always generous letters to his unruly son Charlie are vividly brought to life. Packed with crisp anecdotes and sharp observations, their correspondence spanning twenty-five years forms a memoir of their relationship, an affectionate portrait of a time gone by. This endearing new stage comedy is directed by Philip Franks.
