DOWN to Earth, a multi-sensory show for children with profound and multiple learning disabilities and their parents, will tour to Bath’s egg theatre on Saturday, June 20 for two performances at 11.30am and 3pm. This interactive show, featuring live music, beautiful songs and puppetry, is tailored to individual needs by hugely-skilled performers from Bamboozle Theatre Company.

A strictly limited number of places are available for both performances, to ensure that each participant has the time and space to respond to the experience in their own way. Tickets issued cover participation for one child and their carer, plus three additional spaces for parents or family guests to watch the performance.

Each child will be welcomed individually by name and each moment will be adapted to their requirements by a team of Bamboozle performers experienced in interacting with students who have a variety of complex and differing needs.

During the performance of Down to Earth, the children will experience shadows sliding across the forest floor and the smell of the earth as they encounter rustling leaves and blossom floating from the trees above, and hear and feel creatures bustling through the undergrowth.

Bamboozle Theatre’s immersive style and unique approach to working with children who have learning difficulties and special educational needs is built on a deep and ever developing understanding of how people with learning difficulties access ideas and engage with theatre experiences and opportunities.
