THIS year, the Sodbury Players find themsleves in the lively stage school, "Jollywood Academy", home of the famously kind and lovable Mother Goose.

However, trouble is at hand in the guise of the evil Lord Voldor, who plans to trick her into trading her golden egg-laying goose for beauty and youth. She needs the help of her son, Jack, and fellow students and teachers to remind her of her true self, and stop all the happiness from being taken out of panto-land forever!

This magical tale, directed by Diane Owen and Ross Brown, will take you on the search for true beauty and happiness in the traditional pantomime style, with one or two golden opportunities for songs, dances, laughter and of course, lots of audience participation along the way.

Co-Director Ross describes Mother Goose as being "a fun filled family adventure with aliens, magic and of course a magical goose! Rehearsals have been going well and the cast are ready to go."

Mother Goose is taking place at Chipping Sodbury Town Hall from January 16 to 23. There are still tickets available for the weekday performances, so if you don’t want to miss out on the adventure, book now! Call 0344 332 0230 or book online at www.sodburyplayers.org.uk.
