TORTOISE in a Nutshell is dedicated to creating unique visual theatre to inspire and ignite the imagination of new audiences. Their much-acclaimed show Feral is a remarkable, innovative piece of visual theatre that combines puppetry, film and live sound to create, illustrate and then destroy a world in front of our very eyes. Our hero, Joe, looks back at the town of his childhood. Once bright, vibrant and idyllic the world resembles a haven of comfort but as Joe journeys on, the walls of the buildings and lives of the people are peeled back to reveal the downfall of the community within. Winner of a Scotsman Fringe First and nominee for a Total Theatre Award, Feral was one of the most successful original productions at the 2013 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Since then it has toured to critical acclaim throughout the UK and Europe and we’re thrilled to bring the wonderfully talented and achingly innovative Tortoise in a Nutshell to Prema. Don’t miss Feral – it is, perhaps, one of the most unusual and thought-provoking pieces of theatre you’re likely to see. Suitable for ages 12+, Tortoise in a Nutshell in Feral is on at Prema Arts Centre, Uley, Friday, April 15 at 8pm. Visit www.prema.org.uk
