INSTANT Wit, Bristol’s own Improvised Comedy Company, are bringing their lively and hugely entertaining Quick-Fire Comedy Improvisation show to Under the Edge Arts on Saturday, June 11.

There’ll be sketches, songs and general silliness, all of it based around audience suggestions, so if you've always had a secret yearning to see something really bizarre on stage; for example, 'three otters singing a jazz song about a balaclava'? Your wish is their command. Good suggestions get flying packets of custard, the best a bottle of wine!

Many people have seen improvised comedy on the television, but, this is not recorded and edited, it is 'totally live'. If you like your comedy fast-paced, with a slightly unusual edge, this is definitely for you.

The performance, with sketches, songs and general silliness- all based around audience suggestions, starts at 8pm in the Chipping Hall, Wotton-Under-Edge.

Tickets cost £10/8, and can be booked online at utea.org.uk or by calling call UTEA on 07791 323 869. Tickets can also be purchased at the door, subject to availability, but advanced booking is strongly recommended.
