THREE one act plays by local writer Tony Domaille are coming to Thornbury as part of the Carnival Fringe.

‘Changes’ includes the award winning ‘A Single Moment’ as well as two new plays, ‘Me & You’ and ‘Headlines.’

In 'A Single Moment', Danny’s gambling has finally brought him to rock bottom. He has lost everything and now finds himself in the bookmaker’s shop learning life lessons from a bag lady and a bookmaker who wants all he is owed.

For 'Me and You', Phil and his mates have bungled a robbery that was supposed to solve all their money problems. Now he and his friend, Mikey, have run to the only safe place they can think of – The Me & You Café, owned by Phil’s daughter.

In 'Headlines', when Laura goes to visit psychic medium Monique, she finds a local reporter, Chris Andrews, is as cynical about Monique’s abilities as Laura is confident. As Chris explores whether Monique has ‘the gift’ or is just a clever manipulator, he also finds his own beliefs and profession being challenged at the same time.

Performances will be 7.30pm on Thursday 23 and Friday 24 June at the Coach Hall, The Chantry, Castle Street Thornbury. Tickets are £4 from The Hive Gallery, St Mary Street,
