BULIDING on the success of a sold-out and critically acclaimed run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, double Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee Carl Donnelly is kicking off a UK tour with a date at The Wyvern Theatre in Swindon next month.

Carl, well-known for his comedy podcast with fellow comic Chris Martin, will present fans with a unique opportunity to guest host on an episode in each town he is set to perform in.

Members of the public who believe they possess the wit and charisma to rise to the challenge are invited to Tweet @CarlDonnelly or visit www.carlandchrispodcast.com to take part.

Finding peace in a functioning relationship, career and plant-based diet, Carl is living up to 34 being statistically the happiest year of your life. But is being happy funny?

In his eighth show Bad Man Tings, Carl explores what it is to be a white liberal today. He will look at societal components including Generation Z, health fads, Netflix documentaries and Kanye West.

An Edinburgh Fringe favourite, Carl’s style of comedy has landed him nominations for the Edinburgh Comedy Award in 2013 and for Best Newcomer in 2009.

A regular face on television, Carl’s appearances include Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central (Comedy Central), Mock The Week (BBC Two), Russell Howard's Good News (BBC Three) and Stand Up For The Week (Channel 4).

On the radio, Carl has featured on programmes including The Back End of Next Week (BBC Radio 5 Live), Loose Ends (BBC Radio 4), Act Your Age (BBC Radio 4) and is a regular guest on talkSPORT.
