SPANIEL in the Works Theatre Company presents their powerful performance ‘Inhuman Traffic,’ which looks at both historical and contemporary slavery.

The story is told through the voices of four distinct characters, including a modern slave owner’s wife, who is also a victim of domestic abuse.

This poignant play, written by John Bassett, focusses on an issue which is more relevant today than ever.

On Sunday, May 14, the company will perform at Rodborough Tabernacle (tickets can be bought from Stroud tourist information).

It will then visit the United Reformed Church, Park Road, Gloucester on May 20, with tickets available at Gloucester tourist centre.

The shows start at 7.30pm and tickets cost £7 or £2 for under 18s.
