ONE of the best-loved family adventures of all time is coming to the Wild Place Project, near Cribbs Causeway this month.

The musical Wind in the Willows is being performed, for one-night only, on Saturday, August 19, in the attraction’s Tower Meadow.

All the characters from Kenneth Graeme’s classic tale including Ratty, Mole, Badger and the irrepressible Toad, will be brought to life by the Immersion Theatre Company.

There will be eye-catching costumes, toe-tapping music and a promise that the youngest members of the audience to the oldest will all be swept up by this enchanting production.

The Wild Place Project will be open to ticket holders from 3pm, so they can see the animals and enjoy the woods, before settling down in Tower Meadow for the start of the performance at 6pm.

Guests are requested to bring their own low-backed seating or rugs. This is an outdoor event which will continue unless the weather is very severe, so please dress appropriately.

All money raised will go towards Bristol Zoological Society, which is a charity that relies on the support of the public to fund its vital conservation and research projects across five continents.
